Hair-raising?More hard-hitting MSM coverage of Michelle Obama.
HERE WE GO AGAIN...AND AGAIN...AND AGAIN!
Asian - American Michelle Malkin posted this comment on her website making a reference to an article by Time Magazine, the new " Society of Culture Expertise, and we must add PHD. in Psychology of the minds of women and their hair"-mmm-interesting. The post states:

"The choice many black women make to alter their hair’s natural texture has undeniable historical and psychological underpinnings. It has been attributed to everything from a history of oppression and assimilation to media-influenced notions of beauty…". This comment was made in reference to "Ivey-League Educated, Michelle Obama, whom happens to be the "First Lady of the United States...ouch!
1. Does this comment apply to "Caucasian Women" when they decide to braid their hair or not get a perm, or just simply decide to color their hair"?
2. Does this comment apply to "Hispanic American Women" when they decide not to speak or even learn spanish? How about if they decide not to speak spanish in their homes or change the color/texture of their hair?
3. Does this comment apply to "Asian American Women", when they change their looks in order to look more "Americanized"?
In 2006, Eliza Noh, an assistant professor of Asian American studies at California State University at Fullerton, did research in reference to Asian-American women committing suicide due to the fact her younger sister had committed suicide. Professor Noh, stated her sister had issueses with her looks. "She hated looking Asian-American and under went cosmic surgery" and had a European bridge put in her nose and eye-widening folds in her upper lids before committing suicide. Professor Noh also stated "Many of my interviewees said they were affected by these dualistic images, either as hyper-sexualized and domineering, or passive and submissive," Noh said. These images, she said, combined with familial expectations, narrow the spectrum for Asian women's sense of identity and self-worth.
Does the statement from Michelle Malkins website in reference to black women apply to Professor Noh's sister, an Asian-American woman? The issues and circumstances appears to be the same as the ones describing black women and their hair. Or is this Michelle Malkin once again playing the race card? Absolutely! Cat-Litter Politics at its best....full of @#%^.
